My definition of a standalone is: you can read the book without having read any other Kati Wilde books, and you won’t be lost at all (and of course you’ll get a complete story). A few of these books are series books and others have light connections to other books — they might share characters, for example, as my Christmas books do. But each one of these books will stand on its own and you don’t need to read the preceding books/follow-up books to enjoy the story.
