Kati Version 2.0
Hello friends! A new (and hopefully) improved Kati here, after a bit of an absence. I’ve had a slew of changes and disruptions to my life (moving across the state, soon-to-be-divorced) and with it came a pretty devastating emotional hit that made it difficult to write.
But I’m on my way out of it, putting my life back in order, and foremost among the things to put in order are my books!
So Sheriff’s Bad Bear is up for pre-order again — I don’t know if it’ll actually be as late as January 2023, I just put it out as far as possible to a) coordinate with the audio release and b) to give myself some wiggle room, just in case.
I’ve also got Midsummer’s Bride planned for release just behind it (though I might also write an Xmas story in there somewhere, depending on how long everything is taking me.) Then in 2023, I’ve got the Daughters of the Hunt just ready to burst out of my head — and this fantasy series will follow the daughters of the couples from the Dead Lands.
Also I know a lot of readers don’t love the kind of covers that I do (give me a clinch forever!) and to that end I’m creating discreet special editions of some of my work. The Hellfire Riders series is already available in print with discreet new covers, with the others to follow soon.
So a lot to look forward to! I’ll probably be pretty quiet around here because I’ll be working, but I just want to say thank you so much for all your patience and support.
All my love,
Kati

Sorry that you’ve been experiencing so much upheaval recently. I hope things will begin to calm down for you soon. Considering all you’ve had going on, it’s admirable that you’ve been able to continue writing. Regardless of when your next book appears, I’ll be grabbing it as soon as it’s available. Take care. —Deb
(By the way, I have a new email address. Long story short: AT&T/Yahoo suck! I’m not sure if that will set up a conflict in your system, but it is me!)

It looks like it went through okay! And thank you so much! — in the long run, this is a very good change for me; it’s just the temporary upheaval that is so emotionally messy. But I expect my life to be a much better one going forward in many ways.

Kati, Please take care of your heart! It is a great part of your books, making your characters come to life. I feel everything they are feeling. Give yourself lots of hugs and support as you start fresh. P.S. I love your original covers!
