Fantasy Romance Series
The Dead Lands is an unabashedly romantic fantasy series of the sword-and-sorcery variety. It’s hot and fun, with strong heroines who fight for their place in a world full of magic and adventure, and barbarian warrior heroes who will do anything to have them.
All of the stories will stand alone but might include connected characters. The best place to start is The Midwinter-Mail Order Bride, which features a barbarian conqueror and the princess determined to kill him.
All of the stories in this series will be available in Kindle Unlimited.
THE MIDWINTER MAIL-ORDER BRIDE
Some might call Princess Anja of Ivermere brave for offering herself up as a bride to Kael the Conqueror, a barbarian warlord who’d won his crown by the bloodied edge of his sword. It was not courage that drove Anja from her magic-wielding family’s enchanted palace, however, but a desperate attempt to secure a kingdom of her own—even if she has to kill the Conqueror to do it. She expects pain beneath his brutal touch as she awaits her chance. She expects death if he discovers the truth of her intentions.
She didn’t expect Kael to reject her and send her back to Ivermere.
Raised in the ashes of the Dead Lands, Kael fears nothing—certainly not the beautiful sorceress who arrives at his mountain stronghold. And no matter how painful his need for her, he has no use for a bride who would only tolerate his kiss. Yet the more of Anja’s secrets he uncovers during their journey to return her home, the more determined he becomes to win the princess’s wary heart.
And Kael the Conqueror has never been defeated…

THE MIDNIGHT BRIDE
To save her family from a tyrant king, Mara of Aremond must win a tournament—and she won’t let anyone stop her from claiming the prize. Especially not Strax, the barbarian warrior who has tormented her every step of the way. But when a sorcerer’s trap binds them together, Mara must decide whether Strax is her greatest enemy, or if everything she seeks can only be found in the barbarian’s arms…
The audiobook version of this novella was originally featured on the Read Me Romance podcast. This release marks the first time this story is available in ebook or print, and includes a bonus epilogue and map not included in the podcast version.

ARUK & STRAX ARE BROTHERS
(Their stories should stand alone but are more closely connected than the other books in the series.)
Pretty Bride
As keeper of a sacred oath, Aruk allows nothing to tempt him away from his duty. Not gold, not women, not power. So when the barbarian warrior is marooned in the middle of the ocean, his only thought is of escaping the island paradise and continuing his quest.
Until a pretty princess washes up onto the beach. Spoiled and disobedient, Jalisa should have been easy to resist. But when Aruk discovers the secrets concealed by her beautiful smile, he’ll have to decide between his duty and his heart…
Warning: This is a completely over-the-top barbarian fantasy romance, with a hero who battles giant squid and fights off the villain while he and the heroine are, ahem, having an intimate moment. It’s fun and ridiculous, and ridiculously fun—but don’t worry, it’s sweet and hot, too.

THE STONEHEART BRIDE
Rescued by the warrior who’d broken her heart…
Flora doesn’t know which is worse: being abducted by ogres who intend to eat her, or being saved by the barbarian warrior who’d coldly rejected her hand in marriage. Brom the Stonehearted had crushed Flora’s every hope of a future where she was valued for herself, and dreams of a life where she was more than her uncle’s political pawn.
But as they ride toward home, Flora discovers that a warrior raised in the barren wilds of the Dead Lands recognizes value far beyond power and gold—and that his particular kind of courtship could never be cold…
This short romance is part of the Dead Lands series but completely stands alone.

A Barbarian Who Must Lie
When a prideful queen comes to his prison cell with an unbelievable proposal of marriage, Warrick of the Dead Lands is quick to accept … but not merely to secure his freedom. Because he recognizes the powerful jewels the queen wears — jewels pilfered from the temple of a goddess, who unleashed her wrath upon a kingdom. His plan? Pretend to go along with Queen Elina until he can steal the jewels back, then use them to lift the goddess’s curse.
Except the queen isn’t who Warrick assumes she is at first glance, and his deception might cost him everything…

She doesn’t want to marry a barbarian, but she’s running out of time — the sickness ravaging her body means she’ll be dead long before she sees home. Wait! There’s one more book…kind of.
This book isn’t actually part of the Dead Lands series because neither the hero nor heroine are from the Dead Lands, but it is set in the same world!
BANE SHOULD HAVE BEEN KING…
But he was born four minutes too late. Though it was Bane who’d led armies to victory against the scourge of the undying, now he must watch as his undeserving twin claims yet another throne through marriage to a princess of a neighboring kingdom. A kingdom that Bane had saved.
That throne should be his. So he’ll take it.
All Bane must do is deceive his twin’s innocent bride. He’ll trick her into his bed, and once he’s planted his seed, the bride—and her kingdom—will be his. With such a prize in hand, he won’t care if she ever forgives him for his deception. It hardly matters if she does, because his evil plan doesn’t include falling in love.
But his bride has a few plans of her own…
