Updated version is live (extended scenes and epilogue)! Sheriff’s Bad Bear is here!
Epilogue Update: Extended ending, including a new scene with Brandon’s berserker (that part is 🌶) and an epilogue.
Well, I guess if a pre-order went to plan, it’d shock me to death. I’d hoped this epilogue update with extended scenes would go through yesterday morning (release day) but it wasn’t approved until today. However, the epilogue version should be available to everyone who has purchased or borrowed the book. If that download was made after the update went live (after you read this post, for example) you’ll immediately get the right one!
If you’ve already downloaded the book — before February 2nd — I’ve asked Amazon to mark it as a significant update so that it will either 1) automatically update to your Kindle within a few days, or 2) will be available within a few days to send the update via your “Manage Content and Devices” page. My experience is that these updates usually require removing the download from your device (you don’t have to return the book) and then downloading again to your device. Sometimes that works right away, but usually after a few days.
(Also psst… If you haven’t read TEACHER’S PET WOLF yet and don’t have Kindle Unlimited, it will be free on Amazon from February 3rd-5th.)
He’s done waiting, so his mate is about to discover that his bed is just right…
A werebear is just a cute name for what Brandon Ranger really is — a berserker. Beneath his skin lies a warrior driven by pure, brutal emotion. A warrior who never quits, no matter how much pain he’s in.
Which was fine when he was at war.
But at home, nothing’s so easy. Especially not when prickly sheriff’s deputy Samantha Green just wants to be friends. Because a berserker’s emotions never sit quiet—and when Brandon’s need comes roaring to the surface, there’s only one way to save her: Run.
So he did.
A year later, he’s back and his berserker’s under control. Except it’s too late. Because if Brandon wanted to win her heart…running is the worst thing he could have done.
Good thing a berserker never quits.
